VersionDateDescription
V4.3August 2024

New Features and Improvements

  • Support for external Modem to be connected (WAN) on RayNet port 4 – e.g. Starlink
  • Support for a “Pulsed” output (e.g., for a trigger) instead of a constant high output
  • Resolved an issue where the Sailmon NavDesk mobile app on WiFi, was not communicating (through the YSL) with the E4 processor on RayNet, due to the YSL blocking the communications
  • Access Point WiFi speed improvements
  • Resolved an issue with obtaining an IP address over 4G on certain mobile networks (e.g. Verizon)
  • Issue with upgrading the software in the YSL now resolved, if the Axiom system is running LH4.6.148 (*see Summary below)
    • We implemented a fix in this YSL release, but you have to upgrade the YSL via a Laptop (without the Axiom connected) in order to install this new version
    • Alternatively, we have also fixed the issue in the LightHouse 4.7 software, so ensure you upgrade the Axiom system to LH4.7 (or higher) before upgrading the YSL via the Axiom
  • Resolved an issue where the YSL was factory resetting, causing symptoms like the WiFi Access Point password to revert back to default. This issue is the same as above “software upgrade” issue. So, it is resolved in v4.3 in the YSL and is also resolved in LH4.7 in the Axiom (*see Summary below)

*Summary – combinations of software that resolve the previous two bullet points:

  • LH4.6 and v4.3 (YSL needs to be upgraded via Laptop – Axiom must not be connected via RayNet)
  • LH4.7 and v4.21
  • LH4.7 and v4.3 (Axiom must be upgraded first, then the YSL upgraded)
CloudConnector V1.4August 2024
  • Momentary pulse now initiated when connecting to the boat via the app
  • Issue with YSL router not entering sleep mode now resolved
  • Improvements to app connectivity

CloudConnector V1.2500August 2023

Resolved Issued & Improvements

  • User Interface Improvements:
    • Within the Info section, now display the IPv4/IPv6 cellular status information
    • When disabling the SBAS satellites, it no longer deselects all of the SBAS constellations (this was annoying as one would have to reenable them one by one if they wanted to reenable SBAS)

V141.232.412
(4.12)
August 2022
  • Required release for full support with the Raymarine App, when on-boarding the YachtSense Link router.
  • It is important that a router is "un-boarded" from the cloud, when it is no longer associated with the original user (e.g., the sale of a vessel/changing ownership of product/replacement etc.). This is done via the Raymarine App.
