Discover how to effortlessly connect Power-Pole MOVE trolling motors and shallow water anchors to your Raymarine Axiom chartplotter for better boat control.
Beginning with the LightHouse 4.7 software update, saltwater and freshwater anglers can benefit from seamless integration between their Axiom chartplotter and Power-Pole MOVE Trolling Motors and Shallow Water Anchoring systems.
This seamless integration brings together precision fish finding, boat control and pinpoint anchoring right on your Axiom display.
Axiom now includes a convenient slide-out sidebar optimized for the Power-Pole MOVE series of high-performance trolling motors. From any screen on Axiom simply pull the sidebar open from the left edge of the screen and gain instant access to all the trolling motor’s operating modes including:
In addition to the trolling motor, Axiom can also now control Power-Pole shallow water anchoring systems from the sidebar controller. With a simple touch you can deploy or stow your shallow-water anchoring system in an instant, enabling you to hold firmly on-station while you work the fish.
You can independently control 2 anchors with Axiom's Anchors controller, or you can sync the anchors together for tandem operation. Axiom’s controller features touch buttons for stow, deploy, as well as incremental up or down adjustment.
Linking together your Axiom chartplotter with your Power-Pole trolling motor and shallow water anchoring system is easy, using NMEA 2000 networking. Here is what you’ll need to get started:
The C-Monster Gateway is the bridge between Axiom and your Power-Pole accessories. This device installs in seconds and is powered directly from the network backbone.
Installing the gateway into the network backbone is easy. Find a dry and out-of-the way location to mount the gateway near your wired NMEA 2000 network. Use the included NMEA 2000 drop cable to join the gateway to an empty drop connection or use the included T-Connector to make a new drop to the NMEA 2000 network backbone.
If your boat is wired with Raymarine SeaTalk NG cabling you will need a SeaTalk NG to NMEA 2000 adapter cable (A06075) and a SeaTalk NG T-Connector (A06028) to connect the C-Monster Gateway to the backbone. Boats wired using NMEA 2000 cables and connectors you can use the drop cable and T-Connector provided with the gateway kit.
That’s it! Axiom will now see and control the trolling motor and anchors.
