Find out moreRMK-6 is a compact, programmable remote-control keypad for use exclusively with YachtSense and EmpirBus Digital Switching systems.
Each of the 6-buttons on the RMK-6 can be programmed to control key functions onboard the vessel through the digital switching system. This enables 1-touch access to commonly used vessel features independent of the digital switching control app on the chartplotter display.
The RMK-6 keypad provides illumination for nighttime and low-light use. A built-in light sensor can automatically set the intensity of the backlighting. Each button also has a programmable, tri-color LED indicator that shows the status of the device being controlled.
The 6-buttons on the RMK-6 can be inlaid with custom button legends for easy identification of the systems they control. A set of 20 common marine system keytop legends is included. They include iconography for common functions including wipers, washers, bilge pump, courtesy lights, cockpit lights and many more.
The provided set of 20 keytops is also available separately as an accessory (R70626) should you need duplicate keytops. An expanded set of 26 additional keytop legends (A80514) is also available. This set includes iconography for many advanced functions found onboard larger motor yachts and sailing vessels.
Measuring just 54 x 133mm (2.17 x 5.24 inches) in size, RMK-6 can be installed anywhere you might want button-based systems control. The keypad and its keytop legends can be installed in either portrait or landscape orientation for extra versatility. RMK-6 is waterproof (IPx6 and IPx7) and suitable for installation indoors, on-deck or in engine spaces.
The RMK-6 includes a Device Net NMEA2000 connector for easy interface to the boat's network. The package also includes a Device Net to SeaTalk NG adapter cable for use on Raymarine SeaTalk NG networks.
